Bommarito Consulting was founded on the premise that the most valuable advisory comes from practitioners who build, research, and govern the technologies they advise on. From the beginning, the firm's work has been grounded in published research, hands-on entrepreneurship, and recognized professional credentials.

Over the past decade, the firm has grown from a general technology consulting practice into a specialized advisory focused on the areas where technology, governance, and strategy intersect most critically. This evolution has been driven by direct experience — building and exiting companies, publishing research in top venues, and earning credentials across AI auditing, privacy, and financial compliance.

Today, Bommarito Consulting serves a selective client base that includes Fortune 500 companies, major law firms, financial institutions, technology startups, and nonprofit organizations. Every engagement is led by partners with direct expertise — not delegated to junior staff or generalist consultants.

The firm operates alongside two complementary organizations: the ALEA Institute, a nonprofit focused on open legal and economic AI research, and 273 Ventures, a legal technology and data company. This structure keeps our advisory practice grounded in active research and product development — we advise on the technologies we build, the governance frameworks we implement, and the data practices we maintain.
